Who It's For

When the temperature drops and the brush doesn't thin out, you need briarproof protection that can keep up — without leaving you cold. Dan's Insulated Briar Bibs are built for late-season hunters who push through heavy cover in freezing conditions. Whether you're tracking rabbits through frosted thickets or working dogs in the cold, these bibs keep you warm, dry, and moving from first light to last.

How It's Built

Dan's Insulated Briar Bibs feature:

  • 400 denier nylon briarproof shell
  • Thinsulate liner rated for 10°F to 50°F
  • Water-resistant construction
  • 24" YKK leg zippers
  • 2 side buttons and adjustable shoulder straps
  • 2 hip pockets, 2 hand pockets, and a zippered chest pocket

Why It's Worth It

  • Cold-Weather Ready: Thinsulate insulation keeps you comfortable from 10°F to 50°F — warm enough for the coldest days of the season without overheating on the walk in.
  • Briarproof Protection: The 400 denier nylon shell sheds briars, stickers, and thick brush so you can hunt the cover other hunters avoid.
  • Water Resistant: Stay dry pushing through wet brush, frosted fields, and early-morning dew.
  • Built to Move: 24" YKK leg zippers and adjustable shoulder straps make these bibs easy to get on and off in the field, and comfortable through a full day's hunt.
  • Ample Storage: Five pockets — including a zippered chest pocket — keep shells, calls, and essentials within reach.
  • Hand-Sewn in the USA: Crafted for superior quality and field-readiness.

Sizing & Care

  • Bib Waist Measurement: For a good fit, we recommend matching your briarproof bib waist size with your jacket size. For example, if you wear an "XL" jacket, go with an "XL" bib.
  • Bib Inseam Length: Because bibs typically hang lower in the crotch, we suggest choosing a bib inseam length that is 2" shorter than your usual pant inseam. This will keep your briarproof bib cuffs from dragging and let you bend, stretch, and sit without restriction.
  • Do not machine dry! These briarproof bibs will shrink one to two sizes in the dryer.
