Five Star Briarproof Chaps

I bought these chaps because I did not want to buy another pair of hunting pants that I would out grow. These chaps were bought for bird hunting and they have proved to be the best choice, easy on and off, can go through any brush to get to the birds.

This is my second set of Dan’s chaps. The first pair is still usable but after 5 years hunting 4-5 days a week 3 months of the year they were starting to look fuzzy from the knee down and some of the stitching on the zipper is pulled. One difference between the description and the new pair is that there is not a plastic buckle. There is a stainless steel belt clip. My old ones had the plastic buckle and I had no problems. We’ll see how the clip works out. I liked the buckle because it went through the belt loop. Not sure yet if I have to wear a belt now (not good) or if it will go over the top of the pants, I’ll see how comfortable that is.

I was looking to replace an old pair of cahartt brush chaps. I originally found these on Amazon and noticed there were more size choices than any others. I found the web site and saw the entire size chart with all of the many sizes, not one or two like others. Since I am tall and large, I was surprised to find a size to fit me. I immediately ordered an extra large in the longest length. When they arrived I was so pleased to see the outstanding quality and perfect fit. The fabric is of top quality and the heavy duty side zipper is extra long to make putting them on a breeze. No reason to not expect them to last a long time do a great job. And the frosting on the cake was the so very reasonable price! Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

I bought these for doing habitat work on my farm in Wisconsin. Any thing that is sharp that will scratch poke or stick you grows here. I was tired of coming home with my arms and legs totally abused and then picking out the thorn tips for the next two weeks. The chaps and shirts totally protect me and look new even after I abuse them. Best Buy I have made in a long long time

I bought a pair for my brother and I a week ago. After one use on my Wisconsin farm that is loaded with thorns and briars we deemed these chaps the buy of the year. It’s nice to end two days in the woods and not go home full of thorns and scratches. Now we need some shirts!

These are the exact outdoor tool needed for the job. Easy on over the boots with extra length zipper, durable large teeth, and custom fit design! I need to be in and out several times a day and these chaps are the additional protection I need from the cold winds in the railyard to the wet conditions at the wet plant. Take them off in the dry plant and back on for snow removal in the yard.
