Who It's For

For hunters who want maximum briar resistance without the added weight of a waterproof liner. The Brush Buster Chaps are built from 1000 denier Magnatuff nylon — heavier duty than most chaps on the market — for hunters and outdoors people who push through the nastiest cover and need leg protection that stands up to it. Unlined, lightweight, and easy to move in. Brown. Thigh sizes from 24" to 32", inseams from 26" to 34".

Sizing & Care

  • Thigh Measurement: Measure around the fullest part of your thigh. For comfortable movement, order 2–3 inches larger than your measurement.
  • Inseam: Order 2–3 inches shorter than your pant inseam.
  • Do not machine dry! These briarproof chaps will shrink one to two sizes in the dryer.

    Fantastic chaps for hiking through thorns

    Looked a LOTS of options for chaps. Some more expensive, but none better than these chaps. The easy on metal belt clip is AWESOME for quick easy deployment. I keep these chaps rolled up in my hiking pack until I encounter thorns and then quickly and easily throw them on. Great product, great price, quick service!

    Brush Buster Chaps

    These chaps work great! I hunted last week in thick roses & willows running the beagles. The chaps kept me 100% dry in rain showers as well as the 2” of snow alread on the ground. I had no issues w/snagging or getting hung up in the roses. Easy cleanup with cold water. For upland hunters & those running rabbits in thick cover these chaps are great!

    Brush Buster Chaps, Unlined

    Ordering was easy, service was great. Product is perfect for bird hunting. Repels briars, plum thickets, etc... Very lightweight which is a change from my other chaps. Zippers are very heavy duty. Great American Made Product at a great price. Using Dan's fitting chart fit me perfectly.

    Brush Buste Chaps

    This the second pair I have bought, The first pair were the lined which I use in South Dakota. this pair is for hunting quail here in Alabama. iwanted something a little lighter. I was so impressed with the quality of the first pair that,s why I came back to DAN'S. Fpr the price i think they are a great value considering the quality and workmanship. i am very pleased with them.

    Brush Buster Chaps

    Great fit, durability, and light enough to hunt all day in. Protected my legs from dead falls and tough vegetation while on a recent grouse hunt in Colorado. Would definitely recommend this product.

    Perfect for a Rabbit Hunter

    These chaps are the truth! I ordered them on a Monday, had them delivered by Thursday and hunted in them Saturday. I walked through the thickest & nastiest briars I could find and didn’t feel a thing. There’s no where I can’t go in these chaps. The fabric does make a lot of noise while walking but that’s not a problem when rabbit hunting. Definitely a good investment

    True Brush Buster

    These chaps offer outstanding protection. Briars, stickers and thorns are no match for these chaps. They are light yet very durable. You would expect to pay $100+ for chaps this good. WELL worth the low cost of $34, and best of all, they are made in the USA!

    DANS Briar proof Chaps Are AWESOME!

    Lightweight and durable. I can hunt all day in these chaps and never feel the first briar. I would highly recommend this product if you are a rabbit hunter like me!
