Great Chaps

Well made, fit great, kept my legs dry, and cut through all the briars with no problems.The large zipper made for easy on and off. Best of all, these were priced below other brands I've tried.

Good Fit, I followed the sizing instructions and fit was perfect. they hand from the belt just right. no binding or pulling. Large zipper makes getting them on and off a snap. Well made and tough material, but not heavy to wear. I wore these in an elk hunting camp at 9,000' in October. They were the extra layer I needed to stay warm when the wind chill and snow was such that my water bottle in my saddle bags froze. I loved that they keep my jeans clean and were easy to 'dust off' after kneeling in dirt or snow. Down side, they rustle when you walk, not to be used if you are trying to sneak up on something, maybe this will change after a few washes. Also, wish they came in a canvas rather than poly, I melted a hole in the leg when got to close to the camp wood stove. Patched with brown duct tape, ready for the next hunt.

Dans briarproof chaps are almost a necessity where I hunt in Western Kansas. They are comfortable, will keep you dry and no more getting stuck by sharp things. They are also easy to get on and off. High quality and worth the money.

Chaps seem to work great even in thick briars and are waterproof which is a big plus for the price they are hard to beat

Protecting my hunting buddy

I was looking for a great pair of chaps for my daughter. She absolutely hates briars! I wanted a great material that would keep the briars off of her. These chaps are easy to get on over clothes that she needs to stay warm. The zippers stay zipped while walking unlike snaps that pull apart in the brush. Now she pushes on through and laughs. She says I've been holding out on her all this time. These chaps are helping me be 1 step closer to keeping my hunting buddy out there with me.
